As you explore Kingston, you are able to help us reach our sustainability goals, in a few easy steps.

• Support local businesses: Kingston is full of unique, locally owned stores.

• Enjoy local food and beverage at Kingston restaurants and markets.

• Support local artisans and makers.

• Walk, ride a bike, or use local transit. Take advantage of Kingston’s walkable downtown and waterfront trail.

• Bring your own water bottle and fill it up at one of Kingston’s many public water refill stations/fountains.

• Bring your own tote bag for your purchases.

• Use the recycling depots and waste bins located in public spaces throughout Kingston.

• When exploring local conservation areas and natural habitats, stay on marked trails, do not disturb plants or wildlife, and leave no litter behind.
